The forecast look like there will be strong wind at Padgham today and slightly from the South which causes rotor.

15-19 mph, gusting to 20-22 mph from the SSW. I mention this because I know you have to travel quite a distance to get to Padgham.

Padgham typically swings around North about 5 or 6 pm if you can try later.

I was just out for some hill climbing at Padgham.  It is quite strong with strong gusts out of the SW, matching the forecast.
