RYP Activities
RYP/EYP Dinner & Movie
Runs: February 10th
Times: 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Location: Dryden Theater-George Eastman House
Description: Join RYP and Eastman Young Professionals for dinner
and a movie. Dinner starts at 6:30. Movie starts at 8pm.
Scorsese’s mob epic and masterpiece is a tour de force of brutality,
dark comedy, and great Italian cooking that charts the rise and fall of
small-time mobster Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) and his cohorts Jimmy the
Gent (Robert DeNiro) and Shoeshine Tommy (Joe Pesci in an
Oscar®-winning performance). Deftly gliding, propulsive camerawork and
an evocative period pop soundtrack (Rolling Stones, Cream, Aretha
Franklin) capture the allure, decadence, and the stress of day-to-day
life as a Mafia hood.

politicians to raise money for Melissa’s Living Legacy, a local
organization that helps teens living with cancer. The celebrity
bartenders will be mixing and mingling all night to help raise money
for a great local organization.
Melissa’s Living Legacy is inspired by the life of Melissa Sengbusch
who died in June, 2000 at age 19 of acute myeloid leukemia. Just days
before she died, Melissa asked her mother, Lauren Spiker, to use what
she had learned from her daughter’s experience to “make a difference –
to make things better.” Melissa’s last request became her living legacy
for all other teens facing a cancer diagnosis.
