Hello from RYP—

RYP is offering two events this week. On Thursday, join RYP for a fun night volunteering and socializing at Foodlink. This is a great way to give back to the community while meeting other YPs. Volunteers will be having dinner afterwards at Nathaniel’s. If interested, email Teresa at <Ter...@newkenmore.com>. Foodlink is interested in having YPs join their resource development committee and help with marketing, fundraising, development and event coordination. If interested, email Maria Oberst at <mob...@foodlinkny.org>. On Saturday, join RYP and Rochester Cares for Earth Day in the Park. Volunteer to help with beach clean-up while enjoying festivities and activities. If interested, email Teresa at <Ter...@newkenmore.com>.

Next week, on Thursday, join us for an RYP social at popular South Wedge restaurant Tap and Mallet. Complimentary appetizers and drinks specials will be provided. This is a great way to network with many other YPs.

RocCity Coalition's Community Engagement Survey for Young Professionals: The RocCity Coalition, a group of young professionals representing many local organizations, is interested in delving deeper into the current level of involvement of Rochester's young professional community. RocCity defines "young professional" as an individual in the beginning or middle of their career (typically age 21-45) that carries themselves in a professional manner. If you live in the Rochester area and consider yourself a young professional, please take a few moments (5-10 minutes) to complete this Community Engagement survey. <http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RocCitySurvey>
