Following this event, on Thursday, join RYP for our first social of the year at the popular restaurant Bamba Bistro. This is a great opportunity to network, socialize, and enjoy drink specials.

On Saturday, join RYP members and Rochester Cares as we give back to the community in an event called “King for a Day” in honor of Martin Luther King. Volunteers can participate in numerous events in the community including: sorting food and medical supplies, recycling, reading to the children and elderly and much more. A complimentary breakfast and lunch reception will be provided. To participate, you must register at <http://www.rochestercares.org/kfad09.shtml>.

You’ll also have the chance to get answers to your questions like:
  • What is NextGen?
  • Who are your members?
  • What did you do in 2009?
  • How does your grantmaking process work?
  • What are the real benefits of membership?
  • Why did people join?
  • How do I join for 2010?
