RYP Boat Cruise

Description: Join the Rochester Young Professionals and Young
Lawyers of Monroe County "On a Boat!"
Please join us for a sunset cruise along the Genesee River and Erie
Canal. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot as soon as
possible before it is too late.
The Mary Jemison Tour Boat will be departing from Corn Hill Landing at
6 p.m. Please try to arrive by 5:45pm to ensure a timely departure. The
boat is docked right behind Tony D's and Virtu in the Corn Hill Landing
Complex.
We will cruise South on the Genesee River then East along the Erie
Canal to Lock 33. We will then navigate up and down the lock before
heading back to downtown Rochester to view the beautiful Spring sunset
against the Rochester skyline.
The cruise will be discounted at $22 per person. This includes one free
drink (beer, wine, water or soft drink) and the 2.5 hour cruise. There
will be a fully stocked cash bar throughout the duration of the cruise.
You will also be able to enjoy confectionery delights from "The Cupcake
Dreamery" while cruising the Genesee. Please bring cash to purchase
food as there is nowhere to swipe a credit card while you are floating
on the river.
You will have the option to sit inside the boat or on the upper
uncovered deck. You will be able to move freely around the boat
throughout the cruise. The Mary Jemison has two restrooms for your
convenience. Please note this is a smoke free vessel.

RYP Volunteers: Foodlink
Runs: May 20th

Description: Rochester Young Professionals is having a volunteer
event at Foodlink. As a group, we will be helping sort packaged items
for Foodlink. This event is open to all RYP members and friends. Come
on out and help out this great organization. Afterward, we'll all go to
Nathaniel's (251 Exchange Blvd.).
FoodLink works with area food retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers
to acquire, sort, store and redistribute food to its member charity
programs - especially soup kitchens, shelters and emergency food
pantries. In addition, FoodLink also provides food to hundreds of
non-emergency programs like group homes, day cares, senior centers and
camps.

RYP Clean Sweep

Description: Join other RYP members as we clean up Rochester.
More than 15,000 volunteers have demonstrated their pride in Rochester
by working alongside City crews to clean and beautify just about every
street in the city. In addition to removing litter and debris,
volunteers do such things as planting flowers, pruning trees and
performing other neighborhood beautification projects. Clean Sweep is a
great team building exercise.
A light breakfast and lunch and complimentary t-shirt are provided for
