Hello from RYP—

RYP has one fun event this week. On Thursday, join us for an evening at Geva. RYP members will receive highly discounted ticket prices to see the play Two Trains Running. To purchase $25 tickets for floor seating, email Colleen Brown at <cbr...@gevatheatre.org>. If at least 20 RYP members attend, a complimentary wine and cheese reception will be provided with the ticket price. If you have never been to Geva, this is your chance!

Congratulations to RYP member Daniel Edgell for being featured in the D&C “On the Ladder Feature.” To read his article, go to http://www.democratandchronicle.com/article/20100326/GROUP0101/303260021/ The D&C is looking for other YPs to highlight in their in the business section. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please email Leah Stacy at <leah....@yahoo.com>.

The D&C Sunday Advice from the Top feature now includes a question from a local young professional posed to a local business leader or CEO. They would like to get more submissions for the feature. Submissions would include a question, a photo of the YP submitting, and name, age, hometown and place of work. RYP Activities

RYP at Geva

Runs: April 1st
Times: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Location: 75 Woodbury Blvd.
Description: Gossiping and gambling – the regulars at Memphis Lee’s diner keep the place buzzing. Hustling for work, longing for love, speculating on the next big thing – mostly, they’re buzzing after change. The city wants the diner destroyed for “urban renewal.” Change generates a lot of buzz in all our neighborhoods, and Memphis Lee – he’s buzzing about a fair price for the restaurant.
The Experience: Two Trains Running is August Wilson’s funniest, most accessible and optimistic play.
Join Rochester Young Professional members for an evening of theatre. For questions, or to order these specially discounted tickets of just $25 for floor level seating to Two Trains Running contact Colleen Brown at 585-232-1366 ext. 3057 or e-mail to: cbr...@gevatheatre.org. If at least 20 RYP members attend a wine and cheese reception will be provided.

Community Activities

City Walk

Runs: April 1st
Times: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: 628 N. Winton Rd.
Description: Our first stop of the night will be the Wintonaire (628 Winton Road North, http://www.wintonaire.com/) Billed as "your new old favorite", the family-owned Wintonaire has a long history in the Browncroft neighborhood, and was wonderfully restored and re-opened this past September. Come out for drink and food specials - the Wintonaire has a full menu that can be viewed on their webpage, and it's recommended that you come back out on Friday's for their all day fish fry! We'll be at the Wintonaire from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Our second stop of the night takes us just across the street to the Winfield Grill (647 Winton Road North, http://www.winfieldgrill.com ). The Winfield also has a long history in the community and just a few years ago also went through a total makeover. The Winfield has a great reputation and boasts both staff that has been with them 20+ years along with some second generationers! Come out for dinner or just enjoy drinks in their spacious bar room. We'll be at the Winfield Grill from 8:00pm on.

Board Seat Opportunities
