Hello from RYP—

RYP is offering two events this week. On Thursday, join us for an RYP social at popular South Wedge restaurant Tap and Mallet. Complimentary appetizers and drinks specials will be provided. This is a great way to network with many other YPs. On Sunday, join RYP for the MS Walk at Genesee Valley Park. If you are interested in volunteering, email Susan at <susan...@technisource.com>.

Next week, join us on Wed. May 5th for an RYP Mega Mixer at RIT Inn and Conference Center. All of the local chambers of commerce will be in attendance for a great professional networking opportunity. RYP is the only non-chamber of commerce group invited to participate. The cost is $10 and includes appetizers. To RSVP, email <Michele....@rballiance.com>.

Also, join us on Sat. May 8th for the RYP Arthritis Walk at Seneca Walk. If you are interested in volunteering, email Maria at <maria....@r-y-p.org>.

RocCity Coalition's Community Engagement Survey for Young Professionals: The RocCity Coalition, a group of young professionals representing many local organizations, is interested in delving deeper into the current level of involvement of Rochester's young professional community. RocCity defines "young professional" as an individual in the beginning or middle of their career (typically age 21-45) that carries themselves in a professional manner. If you live in the Rochester area and consider yourself a young professional, please take a few moments (5-10 minutes) to complete this Community Engagement survey. <http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RocCitySurvey>

The D&C has a feature every Sunday called "Advice From The Top" where local CEOs or business leaders answer questions submitted from young
professionals. Local YP’s can ask any question about workplace issues, starting your own business, climbing the career ladder, funding, etc.
All they need from the YP (other than a question) is a photo, and their name, age and place of work! If interested, email Enid Arbelo at <ear...@rocheste.gannett.com>.

Be sure to sign up for the RYP Facebook page and follow us on Twitter!

NextGen Tour

Runs: April 27th

Up to four tons of medical supplies are recycled each week, thanks to the help of local volunteers.

Please join us on Tuesday, April 27, 6-8 PM, as we learn more about this and other programs run by Intervol, and also help sort out supplies. You’ll be helping the environment and possibly saving a life.
