Hi Barry

Great to hear from you. I am convinced that your great great grandfathr Philip was my great grandfather....my Father's name was Philip and his Mother's name was Margaret Roche.

I have been to Taghmon in the last couple of years but have not contacted anyone re our history. I intend to go again this summer and make inquiries about my grndparents. IOt is easy for me to go as I live in Ireland. Obviously you live in the U.S.A.

Keep in touch with me and I will let you know if I find out any further news.

Regards

Pauline

Hi Pauline

I have just read your email to Barry and I think we could be related.
My father was John Radford and he had brother called Philip, possibly
your father his mother was Margaret Roche and his father was Patrick
Radford. They came from Taghmon, Wexford. My father also had a
brother called Nicholas, a sister called Mary who died when only 5
months, and two other brothers Laurence and Freddie. My great
grandfather was also called Philip and was married to Mary Anne
Keane. Could we be related? would love to hear from you.

Hi Pauline

I too am delighted and excited to hear from you, in fact I am crying.
It has taken me years to find a relative in Ireland.

I have so much I want to ask you about our Irish family. My father
died in 1988 after a very long illness. Uncle Paddy (Larry) as I knew
him died in USA in 1998. I am in contact with his two sons. I have a
sister called Margaret Anne (after our grandmother) she is married
with two children. I am married and my married name is Anderson. I
have one son and two step-sons. I live in Kent in SE England.
Larry's two sons were called Michael and Kevin, Michael lives in New
Zealand with his mother and Kevin lives in SE England too.

Would love to talk to you, as I said I have so much I want to ask
you. How can we speak?

Love Theresa (TJ)

Hi Theresa

I too am crying, I can't believe we have come in contact. I have only been looking into family history for a few months. I live in Mullingar, Co Westmeath in Ireland, I used to live in Dublin. Oh I have so much I want to say to you.

Can we arrange to telephone eachother with a view to meeting in the near future. I have a vague memory of meeting Larry & Babs when I was about 3 in Cork where we lived at that time (my father was in the irish army) I do know that Nick died of a broken heart over his daughter (thats what my father told me anyway).

There is so much I want to know also and I hope we can get closer by telephone....oh I am so excited Theresa.

Write to me again soon please.

Much Love

Pauline (Paula) xx

Hi Pauline

Don't think my last posting was recieved. Unfortunately I am not
technically minded so not sure what I am doing half the time.

Here is my email address : tjr1951@googlemail,com

We can then talk more freely and swop phone numbers, etc.

Love Theresa
