hi all
i am a new member to this group. Am a B.tech student and am interested
in discussing about "Robotic Programming in Java". Anyone cognizant
whether Java provides built in classes for robotics? if it does, has
anyone implemented ?

if you want to program an "off the shelf" robot with Java, you could
try starting with these Java projects.

A good solution for programming the Rooma is the Mind Control. It's a
small module that plugs into the Roomba and is C/C++ programmable. The
Mind Control has an Atmel AVR processor inside of it. You program it
with the open sources WinAVR GCC compiler. It also comes with a USB
programmer and good documentation.
