Hi jeeva,
If both activities are in same application then it is possible......i mean it should be in single process.

I use ActivityMonitor to get different Activities: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/app/Instrumentation.ActivityMonitor.html
Correct me if I am wrong but does GetCurrentActivity get the current activity in Robotium.

Jeeva,

GetCurrentActivity gets the current activity if that activity resides
in the same application. I have worked on email app automation, the
attachment is another application (such as a gallery or media
applications). I understand the goal but the attachment is grabbed
from another application so Robotium test app cannot co-exist in
multiple app if you will.
