Hello Robotium Developers,

I am happy to announce the release of Robotium 4.1. A lot of work has
gone into fixing issues and improving the overall experience making
this the best version of Robotium yet!

I want to thank pererikbergman, krzysiekbarca, rtack and menny for
contributing code. I would also like to thank all of you who
contribute by submitting issues and helping new users.

New functionality in Robotium 4.1:

- waitForActivity(Class<? extends Activity> activityClass)

- waitForActivity(Class<? extends Activity> activityClass, int
timeout)

- getWebUrl()

- hideSoftKeyboard()

- getView(int id, int index)

- takeScreenshot() also works with GLSurfaceViews

I hope you will enjoy this release!

There is no date set for a release of Robotium Remote Control for Robotium 4.x.  I would like for our team to shoot for the middle of May, to coincide with a simultaneous release or the then latest release of Robotium.

Hi Arthur,

I'm glad to hear that you are using Robotium. The main distribution list is this one. It's in this group where all news are first announced. We also have a linkedin group where we announce new releases.

Thanks, Renas, for your efforts and great work. As as Test Engineering manager for Mobile, after trying other tools, my teams ended up using yours as a main UI automation tool.
Just curious, is there a way to set a notification of new  releases to those who are interested? I mean a distribution list, email, etc...so that I would always stay current with new releases. Thanks

Arthur
