Robotics Club Inventorying Progress

Hello,
If you were not at meeting on Friday, we began inventorying our large
stockpile of miscellaneous items in the lab in the LS building. We are
preparing to move all of our supplies to our new home in the student
creativity center. The Student Creativity Center, which I will call
the SCC, is due to be completed in a month or so. When it is
completed, the following engineering clubs will likely move in: SAE
Baja, IEEE, Robotics Club (thats us obviously) and ASME. There may or
may not be other groups, but since during the tour last month I only
saw there were four lab spaces so these are likely to be the clubs
that are moving in when the SCC is completed.
Since we did not inventory our items the last time we moved, we are
now inventorying all useful items in the lab. I have created an excel
worksheet of all the items that we had inventoried on Friday. We will
continue the inventorying process at the next meeting. Please come
because we will provide food + drinks for everything that comes. If
you would like to see the excel worksheet, please email me at
darwinnelson at ucla dot edu.
Those that are working on projects please notify me if you would like
to have your parts kept available on the desk space. As we are
inventorying the items in the lab, we will be packing them into
cardboard boxes and as such they will be unavailable for anyone's use
until we unpack them. If you have any particular item you want to be
inventoried (so that it is not marked as useless and thrown away)
please inform the group at the next meeting.
Please come to meetings to help us all move to our new lab and also to
get involved in projects. Thank you very much for your time.
