Friends, we will hold elections on Wednesday, May 2, 6 pm, at our LS Building lab.
If you are interested in an officer position, please attend so that we can form our new officer board.
*** Very important, if you are going to attend elections tomorrow, please reply to this email so we can order the appropriate amount of pizzas for the election.
I, Ed, will not be running for President, so you don't need to worry about running unopposed. This is a decision I have made to promote other members to become leaders in the club. All members who attended at least 1 meeting are still eligible to run as President. Also, the President position will not be an appointed position, contrary to the norm of many engineering clubs, so anyone has a chance to win the President position.
Finally, if you are not running for any position, please attend so that you can vote on the new officer board. If you have even the slightest interest in doing anything with our club next year (hanging out, learning robotics, competitions, career development, etc), then please attend so that the new officer board will have a chance to plan and accommodate your desires next year.
