Hello,

I'm looking at doing an automation project for a product involving Java and C# components.
To give testers a uniform interface to write their test cases Robot would be perfect in providing the keyword driven HTML.
For me to implement that, I would need to use the SharpRobotRemoteServer....
It seems an easier installation option that using IronPython way.

However SharpRobotRemoteServer seems to be in Beta stage
Has anyone used it as such, and got any good/bad feedback?

Thanks,
Clayton

Hopefully you'll get some responses shortly. I believe there's been a few users of the server and it has worked for them, at least on basic level. Depends on your needs.

There's also a known list of issues with the server to be addressed, with a few that have the solution posted, though not yet implemented.

As the developer of the server, I can tell you it should work fine for you as long as you can live with the current limitations (issues). Though it's open source, so one can always improve upon it. I plan to make fixes/improvements sometime but no ETA any time soon.

There's been some bug fixes in latest version 1.2 release of the server. It should work better now. You might want to re-assess for the bug fixes.
