Mouse Over -> Click Element from the menu

Dear All,

               I am using robot framework for automating a web based application.

I have the following problem:

1. I have a header items on mouse over open sub menu items

2. Need to click the sub menu items

Issue:

The sub menu items do not support key up and key down

Could you please help on how to use Mouse Over and Click Link respectively or if there is any other options.

You might try "focus[ing]" on the element(s) and see if that helps any.

Hi,

I am facing the same issue. I have tried focusing on the link and then clicking but in this case when I am clicking before that menu bar is disappearing and other link is getting click on the same location where the expected link was present.

Please help.

Hi,

You try to use Javascript to enable subMenuItem before click it.

example: Execute JavaScript:  document.getElementById('menuSubItemId').parentNode.setAttribute('display','block!important'); document.getElementById('MenusubitemId').setAttribute('display','block!important')
