Hi, Robots!

Robot Framework 4.1.1 has been released today. It's mostly a bug fix
release, but it also adds support for the forthcoming Python 3.10. For
details about all the fixes as well as Python 3.10 support see the
release notes:
https://github.com/robotframework/robotframework/blob/master/doc/releasenotes/rf-4.1.1.rst

Big thanks to everyone who has contributed to Robot Framework 4.1.1
one way or the other. Thanks also to Robot Framework Foundation
<https://robotframework.org/foundation/> and its close to 50 member
companies for their continued support! If your organization is using
Robot Framework and benefiting from it, consider joining the
foundation to make sure the framework is maintained and developed
further also in the future.

Robot Framework 4.1.1 still supports Python 2 including Jython and
IronPython that don't have Python 3 compatible releases available. We
are now starting Robot Framework 5.0 development, though, and it will
require Python 3.6 or newer. If you absolutely need to keep using
Python 2, I highly recommended testing RF 4.1.1 in your environment
and reporting possible problems. If problems are found, we can still
create RF 4.1.2 bug fix release at the of this month. After that
Python 2 compatible releases will be created only if there are
absolutely critical issues.

Cheers,
.peke
