I am working in an Investment domain, and we use thick client applications . Wondering if Robot framework supports the thick client applications or not ?

Hi,

Robot Framework itself knows nothing about any application under test.
Integrating towards them is done via test libraries, so the question
is not "does Robot Framework support X" but rather "does Robot
Framework have a library for X". If there is a good library for that
X, then you ought to be able to start creating tests right away. If
there isn't, then you need to study how easy or hard creating such a
library would be. Without you telling what interfaces your thick
client has, it's hard to tell in what situation you are.

Hi,

I'm not really familiar with WPF and have never heard about Sync
fusion earlier, so I don't know are there libraries for these
technologies or how hard would creating one be. If you have any
programming experience and know any Python, creating libraries is
pretty easy. It's documented thoroughly in the User Guide and there
are also examples and demo projects linked via
http://robotframework.org.

I added robotframework-users back into Cc. Perhaps someone else in the
community knows something more about WPF, Sync fusion, and possible
libraries that can be used with them.
