Hi Folks -

Running latest version of Chrome on Mac
Running Chromedriver 2.28
Running latest version of MacOS

I recently started having issues with 'Capture Page Screenshot' when running my tests on Chrome. This only occurs when the test is run from cron. I am using Cronnix on the Mac to run my cron jobs. If I run the test manually from the terminal the screenshots work fine, but if I run from cron it gives the error below:

Keyword 'Capture Page Screenshot' could not be run on failure: WebDriverException: Message: unknown error: unhandled inspector error: {"code":-32000,"message":"Unable to capture screenshot"}

  (Session info: chrome=57.0.2987.110)

  (Driver info: chromedriver=2.28.455517 (2c6d2707d8ea850c862f04ac066724273981e88f),platform=Mac OS X 10.12.3 x86_64)

I have tested this on multiple computers with the same setup and it consistently happens when the test is run from cron. I tested with an older version of Chromedriver (2.25) and older version of Chrome (v55) and the issues does not occur. Has anyone seen this issue before? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Incase anyone else has this issue, I resolved by downgrading my installed chromedriver to 2.24.

Ugh

I don't use Mac, but it might be good idea to raise an issue to the ChromeDriver development. So that they know about the problem and perhaps are able to fix it too.
