I have install python, jython, robotframework2.7.4, ride0.50 , wxpython2.9 on MAC

But if install wxpython2.9, ride will get fail, so I reinstall wxpython2.8

I will get "wxPython not found".

Detail dmg file: wxPython2.9-osx-2.9.4.0-coca-py2.7.dmg  and  wxPython2.8-osx-unicode-2.8.12.1-universal-py2.7.dmg

I think wxPython2.8 install successfully, but MAC OS can't found this version ( if install 2.9 can be found ).

Ride on Mac is a little bit of a complicated setup unfortunately.
This topic is discussed in this issue: https://code.google.com/p/robotframework-ride/issues/detail?id=888

My personnal experience is that I spent quite some time making it work.
(I had some 32/64 bits issues and got help from http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2565201/wxpython-incompatible-with-snow-leopard)
But there were some UI glitches that were bothering me.
So I decided to go with Textmate + Robot Bundle and I am quite happy with this setup.

My solution to this annoying problem is to run RIDE in an Ubuntu VM on my mac.

Is there a way to run tests written in RIDE with only Robot  installed? I'm trying to link Robot tests to Jenkins. The tests were written in RIDE, but I want them to run automatically and not have to open the whole framework.

Sure, Ride is just a UI layer that makes more easy to write/run the tests.
To launch the test, you should get all informations you need in the User Guide (section "executing tests")
And in Ride, you can also see what was the command line that was executed, and that is the one you want to launch from Jenkins more or less.
