Hi

SeleniumLibrary 5.0.0 is a new release with chained locators support and improving autocompletion from Python IDE. Support for Python 2 ja Jython is dropped in this release.

SeleniumLibrary 5.0.0 was released on Saturday January 30, 2021. SeleniumLibrary supports Python 3.6+, Selenium 3.141.0+ and Robot Framework 3.1.2+.

Because this is most likely the last SeleniumLibrary major release which is made by me, I want to thank everyone who has participated in the SeleniumLibrary development in the past five years. There has been many people who has made smaller or bigger PR to the project source code and helped SeleniumLibrary development by their contributions. Also there has been people helping me shorter and longer time, in the SeleniumLibrary development Many thanks for all those people. But now it is my time to give keys to the project for someone else and I hope that there will many new people joining the SeleniumLibrary development team. If you want to be one of those, send me mail or contact me in the Slack and lets discuss. But fear not, I am sure that SeleniumLibrary has bright future. Also I will not disappear from the community, I just have too many projects to maintain.

Thanks Tatu on this update.

This is helping in identifying internals of SeleniumLibrary.

I see few keywords showing in red

Please let me know what to do in this case.

Thanks,
Praveen.

Hi

Those two pictures has nothing to do with each other. Your IDE, no idea what it's, and plugin you are using (no idea what that is) are not able to discover keywords when library is using Robot Framework dynamic library API. I use PyCharm, but I don't use automatic completion for keywords and I am not able to help you with this problem.

Hi

As I said, I don't use plugin for automatic keyword completion. Therefore I am not able to help you.

Praveen,

You might check the Robot Framework Slack workspace to find other users of that plug-in. As Tatu noted it is difficult to diagnosis issues with plug-ins if they are not used by that person.

No Problem Tatu. I can understand now. It is hard to identify the issue since you are not depending on auto completion plugins.

Manlove,
I will check with other users who are actually using this.
