Hello,

Could you explain what you are trying to achieve by opening a native
file chooser dialog?

One could use OperatingSystem library
(http://code.google.com/p/robotframework/wiki/OperatingSystemLibrary)
for the tasks you need to do (create, move, copy, delete, check
file/path) but that might not be what you are looking for..

Kind Regards,

@Mikko Korpela, Prashant Katiyar

we have a JSF application in which we had to use Tomhawk library for
inputUpload control which has a text area and a browse button in a
single control.

Now the intention is to write a test case for the same.
I able to click on the browse button which is opening the file
chooser ,now i need to select a file (file location will be known
before hand) and close the file chooser dialog and continue other
operation.

Can i use swing library ??? while browsing the site i found following
keywords..
->>Cancel File Chooser
->>Choose From File Chooser

can i use this ??

BR,
rAj

Hi,

I assume you want to use the "Choose File" keyword from
SeleniumLibrary:

http://robotframework-seleniumlibrary.googlecode.com/hg/doc/SeleniumLibrary.html?r=2.4#Choose%20File
