Looking to get involved and celebrate National Volunteer Month? We are still in need of volunteers for our 2021 Live Remote VEX Robotics World Championship. Get involved and volunteer Participate in final Online Challenges of the season Encourage teams to submit an entry to these five open Online Challenges, sponsored by the REC Foundation. We will be giving away over $20,000 in VEX Robotics gift certificates to winners as an opportunity for teams to purchase team equipment for future competition seasons! The submission deadline for these Challenges is June 1, 2021. View Online Challenges Register for a VEX GO Workshop! Want to get started with VEX GO? Join a FREE virtual Educator Workshop where you’ll be introduced to STEM Labs, coding with VEXcode VR, and the resources you’ll need to implement VEX GO in the classroom! A VEX GO Kit is not needed for the Educator Workshop. View workshop dates Resources for graduating students Encourage graduating high school seniors (18+ years old) to become members of the REC Foundation Alumni Association! The Alumni Association offers students an opportunity to begin networking, explore internships, and access career advice upon graduation. Students who stay connected are invited to participate in unique volunteer opportunities and reconnect with teammates. Learn more about the Alumni Association Florida Polytechnic University offers 10 non-renewable academic merit scholarships to full-time technology and engineering students with a strong passion for robotics and STEM. Students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Participation in robotics clubs, programs, and competitions during high school is preferred, but not required. Click here to learn more about this scholarship. The AMPED MFG Career Summit will bring students, parents and teachers into the Virtual World of NTMA Connect to discover careers in manufacturing! The Summit will showcase careers in manufacturing to those interested in exploring options for a successful and fulfilling future. Sessions will be guided by industry leaders who have a passion for the profession and want to showcase all that entails industry career opportunities for our future workforce. The REC Foundation is excited for the opportunity to present information on our programs related to workforce readiness. More details coming soon!
