The REC Foundation is committed to continuing to provide students the opportunity to safely participate in our VEX Robotics programs as the global pandemic enters its second year. Due to the continually evolving impacts of the pandemic, the REC Foundation and VEX Robotics will not be hosting the in person VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas in April. Instead, we will be hosting Live Remote and In Person events in May and June.

Remote VEX Robotics World Championship 2021
For the first time ever, along with our partners at VEX Robotics, we’re excited to announce that qualified teams and spectators from around the globe will be part of an exciting Remote VEX Robotics World Championship in May, 2021!
Although we will not be hosting the in-person VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas in April, we look forward to crowning champions of real-time remote tournaments or skills matches using the REC Foundation’s Live Remote Tournament interface.
- VEX Robotics Competition: May 17 - 22, 2021
- VEX IQ Challenge: May 24 - 29, 2021
This won’t be like any VEX Worlds ever experienced - but will go down in history as the first of its kind.
