The Analytics Consulting Case Contest begins today, 20 September, 2011

In continuation with our presentation on your campus, please find
below additional details for the case contest:

Background:
The case study has been modeled on a real life consulting problem to
give the students a taste of the analytics consulting work, and also
to give us an idea about the analytical and problem solving
capabilities of the students.

Problem Statement:
The problem statement has been uploaded on the following link along
with other details: http://www.exlservice.com/eq2011.aspx

Eligibility:
The contest opens on September 20, 2011 across all IIT campuses, and
entries will be in the form of teams of two students each. The
eligibility criteria for entering are detailed in the registration
form (also uploaded on the aforementioned link).

Prizes :
Pan IIT Champion – The best team across all IITs shall receive an iPad
for each team member and a direct Interview Opportunity.
Campus Winner – The best team from each campus (each parent IIT is
paired with its mentee IITs) shall receive a Samsung Galaxy Ace
smartphone each along with a direct Pre-Placement Interview
Opportunity.
Campus Runner Ups – The runner up teams in each campus shall receive
an iPod Shuffle each.

Important Dates :
Contest Launch - September 20, 2011
Last Date for Registration – September 27, 2011
Last Date for submission of entries – October 20, 2011
Presentation via video conference – November 7 – 11, 2011
Final Results announcements – November 15, 2011
