Why the ODE simulator cannot be launched in Ubuntu?

Hi Sir or Madam,

Could someone tell me why the ODE simulator could not be launched on Ubuntu 14.04? It seems that it keeps waiting for the clients. If I type ./robogen-evolver 1 results/my_first_evolution_experiment ../examples/evolConf.txt in another terminal, the two terminals would do communication like two nodes in ROS, but I still could not see the robot simulator. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry, it's me again. I suppose we can see the procedure of constructing a robot and the motions of a robot in the simulator during the evolution process. Is it true?

Hi Weibing,

By default the server will not show any visualizations since that makes things run much slower. If you want to visualize every robot that is being simulated you should start the server with the --visualization option specified after the port.
