Scott,

I would suggest posting to the trossen forums, they get a lot more traffic than here.

As for minimum sketch -- I believe the RX-24 ships with a default baud rate of 57600, not 1M, so you'd have to update that. Either the CommExt or PyPose sketches should work once the baud rates agree.

Hello,

This is my first adventure with ArbotiX. I've got the Trossen WidowX turret (an arbotiX board with the RX Bridge and two RX-24F servos).

I assembled the electronic connections according to http://www.trossenrobotics.com/productdocs/assemblyguides/widowx-robot-turret.html. I haven't bothered installing all the nuts/bolts/plastic pieces onto the servos.

Power supplies appear to be hooked up correctly and I'm able to program sketches (board is set to "ArbotiX w/ RX Shield") using an FTDI cable.

I can't get the servo(s) to do anything. I have only one servo hooked up for testing. What is the bare minimum sketch I can try out to make sure the servos work?

I've tried both the CommExt with the CommExt.py script and pypose sketches, but the servo(s) do nothing.

Thanks,
Scott
