After tinkering with Pypose and the Arbotix board, I have compiled
this list of usability features I think would greatly enhance the
creation of poses and sequences, especially for biped humanoid-type
projects. These are just my personal opinions and do not reflect any
negativities toward the product thus far. Outstanding work!
1. When creating new pose by clicking the "add" button, automatically
highlight and select the new pose.
2. After capturing a pose, automatically "set" pose to that capture,
so the servos don't relax.
3. Add option to rename an existing sequence in the sequence list.
4. Add option to assign servos to L/R sides and link pairs to aid in
"Swap position" and "Mirror position"
5. Allow meaningful naming of servos, in addition to displaying ID#.
6. Would be nice if pose list and sequence list automatically
refreshed by alphabetical order. Or allow moving up and down manually.
7. Add option in sequence editor to allow stringing together of
sequences to create one long choreographed sequence.
8. Add text box to allow direct numerical input of servo positional
values, in addition to currently using sliders.
