Hi All
Can the parallex HB 25 motor controller be used with the ArbotiX
Robocontroller?

While I don't know of anyone using it with the ArbotiX, I see no
reason why it wouldn't work -- it only requires a traditional hobby
servo pulse which the Servo library can easily generate.

Is there anyone whose familiar with programming Arbotix using the Arduino (0021), when I try to load sketch it gives me errors. Yet the "WinAVR" locates the device with ease.

There shouldn't typically be a problem -- the UI hasn't changed much
between 0018/0019 and the releases put out over the past few weeks.
You'll really have to tell us what the errors are to get any sort of
help...

Below is the error I'm getting.

avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x00

I have the arbotix file in the Arduino-0021 folder.

That says you aren't connected to the ArbotiX correctly. Have you:

1) Selected the correct serial port?
2) Connected the ArbotiX with an FTDI cable? Or, if using an ISP, have
you adjusted the boards.txt file as instructed in the wiki?
3) Powered the ArbotiX on to upload code?

Hello Fergy

I had ordered a new Pololu usb avr programmer, since I had lost the other one.
It is using com 7, the board powered on (green light) and file already exist. When I try to view the flash I get the same error. Would l be easier if I use the Xbee?
