problem with spinner bind:checkedItemPosition="${indexOfSpinner}"

Hi,

I am using bind:checkedItemPosition="${indexOfSpinner}", so that I can select the spinner item when page loads up. However, I get the following error:

checkedItemPosition: Unrecognized attribute 'checkedItemPosition'

Any ideas how I can do it?

Spinner inherits from AdapterView. Where is checkedItemPosition from?

I only see 'selectedItemPosition'. It is not subclass of AbstractListView.
