Problems at fifth step

Hi all,

My roast process is crashing out in the middle of the fifth step. I'm getting the error message: "getDP solver cannot work properly on your system. Please check any error message you got." I'm not seeing any error messages, and have referenced a post from a few years ago saying to update getdp to the newest version, replacing the subfolder within lib, though to no avail. Anything else I can try to do to get this to work?

Hi Hector, this is a recurring issue. See old posts in the mailing list. getDP could fail on Mac OS. Did you try running on a Windows machine with the latest version of getDP?

I'm on a Windows machine and referenced older posts and couldn't find anything that worked. Replacing the getDP folder with the newest version gave me the same error. Or should I only replace the .exe file? I don't think that worked, either.

Yes, replacing only the .exe file. Also can you check your getdp folder structure? Also check if you're calling roast from the roast folder. It may just be a file path issue.

Well, it looks like it was a Windows permissions thing. I went into Powershell and manually gave getDP access, so everything's working now. Thanks for the awesome work!
