Hi Norlan,

To translate from native space to MNI space with an affine transform you can use "mri2mni" as is shown here:
https://github.com/andypotatohy/roast/blob/7cd31ff315a45b875d7dc85634243b4266db314b/roast_target.m#L345

If this is not sufficient for your use case you may find this discussion useful:

In my case, I used FSL (FLIRT and FNIRT) to transform from native space to MNI space.

Hello Andy, Hello everyone,

I am a French researcher working at INSERM, and I am currently using ROAST for my electric field simulations. I am facing an issue and would greatly appreciate your assistance.

I am trying to extract the magnitude of electric fields in MNI coordinates from the output file XXXX_emag.nii. While I can obtain the correct values in XYZ coordinates, I am struggling to convert these values into MNI coordinates using the transformation matrix in the headers. I am looking for a way to achieve the same XYZ to MNI coordinate conversion that is applied in ROAST’s graphical interface, where electric field values are displayed in different sections.

If anyone has insights or suggestions on how to perform this conversion correctly, I would be very grateful. I suspect the solution might be straightforward, but I haven't been able to pinpoint it.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Norlan
