Call for volunteers for ROAST

Dear ROAST users and contributors,

Thanks for your continued interest and support in ROAST. As you may know, I have been trying to get funding for ROAST but all my attempts, including 3 NIH grant applications and 1 private funding application, have all failed. As ROAST has been well adopted in the community, we do want to keep it alive. However, I'm starting a new job now and have to move on, so I'm asking for any volunteers to keep maintaining and even contributing to the code repository. While I'll try my best in my spare time, I'm calling for volunteers for the following action items:

1) Maintaining the mailing list by answering users' questions. It's been mostly me who replied to the mailing list. While I may shift out of the emails, anyone who knows the answers is encouraged to provide their inputs;

2) Contributing to the source code. I have a to-do list for fixing some small bugs in the code and adding new functionalities. I know some of you had contributed your code before, and some of you are super users who used ROAST to model hundreds of heads and have customized versions of the code. You know the code much better than others. So let me know if you want to volunteer on implementing these to-dos. I will share with you the to-do list and add you to the github repo.

I hope that several years from now when I'm not involved, there will still be active personnel for this software (even only 1 or 2). Your contribution will be much appreciated.
