Hi,

We want to expand the number of electrodes that the ROAST uses for targeting from 72 electrodes to 128 electrode EEG cap. Is it as simple as replacing the channel loc file in the roast script. If so do you have a loc file for an 128 EEG electrode cap system?

Thank you,
Dalton

Hi Dalton,

Unfortunately I do not have the loc file for 128-electrodes. But the loc file is just for plotting the results. All the electrode coordinates are stored in the capInfo.xls file. If you know which the 128 electrodes are, you can extract them from the capInfo.xls, but you will have to tweak the code to make it work.

This is the topic of my pending NIH funding to further develop ROAST. Hopefully it's funded so that the future version will have this.

Hope this helps.

Hi Andy,

On that subject has it been explored yet ? We have the same issue as we use the 128 EGI cap but only the 256-EGI cap system is available and not exactly equivalent for specific targeted electrodes.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Beatrice,

Unfortunately no. For targeting, it only supports 72 electrodes from 10/10 system. Future versions will incorporate other systems such as the EGI cap for targeting if I get further funding for ROAST.

Hope this helps.
