To my knowledge this has to do with the anti-cheat thing they have in this years game. If you try to even use it in showcase mode the game softlocks itself. And if you try to restart the match the game crashes because it detects cheat engine

In my early tests it looks like the custom CE that my MvF supporters have is working with 2k24 but that could change at any time. Also keep in mind there are some parts of the game where if you make a change with undetected CE the game will still eventually realize there was a change and kill itself regardless of how undetected the tool making said change was. But yeah like I said, today I'm starting to really look at stuff and test it out finally and I'm hoping to get a clearer picture soon on exactly what will and will not be doable this year with CE! If anybody has the game and wants to help me test stuff out please send me a message!

Ok, so if I oper Cheat Engine first and WWE 2K24 later then I can connect it with game but yes, it crashes when I start the match or scan. I was thinking about changing process name in task manager and use cheat engine to scan the game and see if there is easy way to turn off app detection. I don't know, I didn't manage to do it eventually but I thought there is no such thing as bad idea right now. I'd like to help but I barely have time during the day right now. Actually I think I should go back to work.

I've been using lunarengine and I've been having luck with just editing the pofos in that. Even for CAWs, it doesn't look like changing the gender byte makes you deformed anymore. Only tested it on two characters though. And yeah, unless you set the match to no DQ the gameplay is all janky and weird, for me it just disabled all grappling for both me and the opponent

Yeah, that's 2k's horrendous attempt at an "anti cheat" trying to crash the game. I'm guessing when the match was over the game completely crashed. A lot of people have been trying Lunar Engine and pretty much having the same result. I would be surprised if any of the popular sources like Lunar work because as soon as they're popular they start getting detected, which defeats the purpose. lol This is why I am very selective of when and where I will even share such links; and why I like to create a custom CE for my donors to increase their odds of having a longer lasting one. If you find a public one that fully works and doesn't mess up player input during matches, treat it like gold!

The first 2 bytes of somebody's AOB are their ID, like how The Rock has been ID 100 for like all of eternity in these games, which means the first two bytes of his AOB are going to be 64 00 because 100 converted into bytes (as in the Array Of Bytes that is an AOB) is 64 00.

Now let's do a little test to see if we can find somebody's AOB. Let's take Becky Lynch who we know is ID 611 because this google doc for 2k23 tells us, and the IDs usually always stay the same year after year. The AOB patterns (the HEX values in the second column) are out-dated on this Google doc though, so we have to figure out the pattern ourselves. So since we know Becky's ID is 611, we have to convert that to hex which is 263 which we then have to make AOB-friendly by turning it into two bytes like this 02 63 but then swapping them so they're like this 63 02 which gives us the first two bytes of her AOB. If these last couple sentences sounded f'n psychotic and made no sense, do some Googling on how to convert decimals into hex into array of bytes. It's valuable info to know, but tricky to explain easily.

Next, we know Becky's female (despite being The Man LOL!) so we know the 3rd byte will be 01. After that, most of the time the 4th byte is a 00 followed by another occurrence of their ID taking up the 5th and 6th bytes in the AOB. So that would mean this pattern should find all instances of Becky's AOB:
63 02 01 00 63 02
^First two bytes represent the character ID, 3rd byte is gender, 4th I don't know what it's for but it's usually 00, and then 5th and 6th are the ID again just like 1 and 2.

For most of the people listed on that document, you can kind of figure out what the AOB pattern should be just by looking at it. For example if I look at Asuka it says her pattern is
6D 02 2F 01 6D 02 ...but we have to adjust for the fact that the 3rd and 4th bytes (in red) in all these suggested patterns is out-dated now. So with Asuke above, I would replace byte 3 with 01 because I know she's a female and I know her gender byte will be 01. Next, as I said earlier, the 4th byte is unknown to me but USUALLY is 00 now. So I'd come up with this new pattern if I want to search for Asuka:
6D 02 01 00 6D 02 ...and this would probably find her, but I'm just guessing. If if fails, I'd replace that unknown 4th byte (00) with a wildcard (**) like this and narrow my search from there: 6D 02 01 ** 6D 02

Anyway, I realize this strayed off a bit from the original question regarding CAWs but once you get really good at finding and editing in-game superstar AOBs, then you start getting a lot better at dealing with CAW stuff too. You can usually find a CAW's AOB the same way, but with CAWs that have smaller ID numbers it definitely gets trickier. Usually the first CAW you create is going to have ID 1, and the second will have ID 2, and so on... In 2k23 I was able to find CAW AOBs using the method I describe above (First two bytes = ID, third = gender, fourth = 00 or wildcard, followed by the ID being repeated again) so it probably is all the same in 2k24. Hope this helps some people out with their experiments!

I figured it'd be a pain. I tried changing a gender byte, but I couldn't see any effect. When I'd try to change characters at the match screen, they'd change but the game would crash when loading the match. Glad to see DirtyCheater back on this game. Donated

As for the gender byte, last night I was trying to re-create my select screen cheat table that lets you just go look at somebody and toggle that person's gender byte just by looking at them. Sadly I passed out on the floor before finishing it and lost the minor progress I had made. I'm going to try again tonight. If it works, then it'll probably also mean we have the same "look at this person" option to change the weight class too.

Anyone want to try this Gender & WeightClass changer out? Works for regular Cheat Engine 7.5. I was able to use this for a long time editing people without a problem. Just remember to close the game when you're done or you'll get a crash when you try to play a match on regular CE.

In the game, scroll to somebody whose gender or weight class you want to change. There is no need to actually select the person. Just have them be the person you're looking at. Now in CE you should see both the gender and weight class in the cheat table; you can just double click where it says the gender or weight class' name and a popup box will let you select a new one. Now that person is done and you can immediately scroll to look at the next person you want to change and you'll notice the values are updating on the cheat table after a few seconds to reflect anybody you look at. (note: your CE settings Update Interval speed will determine how many seconds it takes for the value to update when you scroll to somebody new)

When you're done going through people to edit, just select somebody to make 1 small edit to (like add an attribute point or something) and then SAVE ALL SETTINGS to make everything you just did permanent.

Yeah it will work better if you don't launch CE until you're already looking at the roster list. When I do it in that order I can spend a long time making edits. Testing to see if me editing a post here also hits an approval error...

Even though you completed MyRise and it says he's locked behind it, remember the devs disabled him from their end. So, in order to get him playable you have to do the trick that he explains about making an alt attire and all that stuff. Simply completing MyRise isn't enough in Brock's case, I don't think.

I am using cheat engine to speed up my torrents and for the first time ever I decided to play warframe while waiting for some torrents to finish and boom...game recognize I use cheats and wont start till I turn off cheats O.o
I didnt know CE can be used to hack even mmo games lol

How would cheat engine speed up torrents? If you want PM me a link, but that just sounds incorrect.

And yes it's a cheating program that can be used to speedhack in almost every game, MMO or not. Warframe is pretty hackable since the game doesn't connect to DE's server(s) until after you finish a match. I haven't really heard too much about cheating in the game so I don't think many if any people hack, but they need to add a lot of security to make sure the game stays fair.
