I'm excited to partner with the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education (CAEE) to offer an in-person professional learning experience for non-formal educators April 28-29th in Carbondale, Colorado at the Third Street Center ;
How We Teach; Student Centered Teaching and Learning.

Gain tools and strategies to engage learners of all ages through two days of BEETLES Project professional learning modules.

The BEETLES (Better Environmental Education, Teaching, Learning & Expertise Sharing) Project is one of many programs at the Lawrence Hall of Science and focuses on improving the quality of outdoor science education. Three BEETLES learning modules will be covered in this 2-day workshop:

  • Teaching and Learning
  • Promoting Discussion
  • Constructing Understanding Strategies

Along with other non-formal environmental educators, engage in rigorous learning and discussion both indoors and outside while earning a 16 CEU hours certificate. Grab a friend or colleague and register by April 15th.

This is part of a new Curiosity and Wonder Project I have launched that will also be offering a 3 day course: Teaching Curiosity and Wonder: Observing Phenomena and Deep Learning in June in Gunnison Colorado. Learn more about this project at WildRoseEducation.com/Curiosity

Take good care,
