Friends,

We're still looking for volunteers for the PrideWorks day of service this Saturday.  The event is free, but we're asking for your to register via the website so that we know how many to expect.  We're meeting at Elmwood Park at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday in order to divide into work teams and head to our sites.  We're working with Habitat for Humanity, Roanoke Parks and Recreation, and the Taubman Museum.  If you have questions, email me.

Here's the schedule as I now have it.  If there are corrections/additions, please let me know.

"It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time one stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, one sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."
