Okay. This message is for everyone who isn't twirling at the
Whitewater Whirl in WV w/ one of our local favorites Shawn Brenneman.

Last night I saw lots of familiar faces and danced with folks from DC,
Atlanta and across NC at Dare to Be Square in Riner. http://www.daretobesquare.org/
The callers are superb, the bands great and folks are there to DANCE.
Great sessions going on all day today and tomorrow. Want to learn to
call? This is your opportunity. Want to dance all kinds of squares?
This is it. Last night we did a six couple dance that came out of
1850s Alabama. Come for the dance at 8pm tonight if your day is
already booked. Just $5. See you at the Square!
AND FYI: The next Roanoke Contra is on May 19, just two weeks from
today. We will be dancing to caller George Segebade and the
