Seeking Self-Nominations for Upcoming Election

Hello Dancers! Hope everyone enjoyed the great dance last Saturday.

As you know, Roanoke Contra Dancers is under new leadership. The interim directors and officers are hard at work. We have adopted bylaws to help guide us and are preparing for a membership drive and our first election.

We are seeking self-nominations for the following positions:

• President
• President Elect
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Director (5 to 7 will be elected)

If you are interested in being an officer or director, please send me an e-mail (mdp...@gmail.com) stating which position you're interested in. Complete descriptions of the officer and director positions are in the bylaws.

Not quite ready to be an officer or director? We still need you help! Please take a few moments to tell us how you would like to help by completing a volunteer information form.

Also, the interim board members are eager to hear your suggestions. Please use our online suggestion box to let us know how Roanoke Contra Dancers can be improved.
