Notes:  This list was compiled during and after a "Duck Watch" produced by The Roanoke Valley Bird Club and Gale Kuebler for area Girl Scouts.  There were about 25 girls in attendance and about half as many parents.  The Roanoke birders did a fantastic job leading the groups birding, and it was a joy indeed for us old birders to see youngsters getting excited about birding.  No doubt I missed a species or two seen by another group.
