SANTA ROSA, Calif. A Santa Rosa woman sought in connection with a road-rage shooting has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Department says Karli Scarioni turned herself in to sheriff's detectives late Sunday. Her arrest came two days after 19-year-old Drew Hammoudeh (hah-MOO-day) was shot in the head as she was driving south of Santa Rosa. Sheriff's Lieutenant Dave Edmonds says Scarioni was driving the car that followed Hammoudeh through Santa Rosa after an argument Friday afternoon. Myriss Winston of Santa Rosa is accused of firing the gun at Hammoudeh's car, striking her in the head. He was arrested along with his cousin who was also in the car.
