Anchorage, Alaska - Road rage is being blamed for a stabbing that left a man seriously injured last night.
The Anchorage Police Department says Michael Mortensen and Nicholas Romo, both 22, were involved in some kind of road rage incident on the 19,000 block of Driftwood Bay Drive in Eagle River around 11 p.m. yesterday. Police say a fight broke out and Mortensen was stabbed.
Police say they were able to find Romo early this morning with the help of witnesses.
"Romo had left the scene, witnesses provided license plates, things of that sort, which allowed officers to get a warrant,” said Lt. Kris Miller of the Anchorage Police Department.
Police say Romo was arrested around 8 a.m. today on the Glenn Highway
