Slow Logins

Hi There!

We run Roadkill on decent hardware (Server Grade) with Active Directory Integration. We have noticed that logging into Roadkill is painfully slow, sometimes 15/20 seconds. We suspect it's something like Tomcat loading and or unloading when it's not used for a while.

We run on Windows Server 2012 R2.

Any ideas on what we can do to avoid these slow logins? Subsequent logins immediately after is quick.

Cheers

Hi - did you get anywhere with this? I haven't used Tomcat much at all so couldn't provide anything useful in response. But the AD implementation in Roadkill does cache the users and groups for speed, so it's strange that the login would be slow, that sounds like it's the connection to the server. Could you try it in IIS and see if you get the same problem?
