First off, I love your show.
Philbo Koenig (who's been playing his Roland synthesizer guitar with
our band, Bluejump, in NE Iowa lately) told me 'boutcha, and he was
right. The show is great.
I've been approached by KPVL-FM in Postville to do a weekly local
blues/jazz radio show on Saturday nights, but the station has only
been in existence for a few years, so they have NO music library. That
means I'd have to supply the CDs myself (since it's public radio, they
also have NO budget) and though I have a reasonable blues collection,
it's not enough to sustain a weekly show.
Would it be alright to ask your readers/suppliers to help get us up
and running on the new show by donating CDs? (I'm donating MY time,
too, by the way.) I'll find a way to mention contact information if I
can, either on the air or on the www.kpvlradio.com website.
I just wanted to see if you and your readers might be able to help get
another blues venue started. If you have questions, contact me or Jeff
Abbas, KPVL's program manager.
Thanks...and keep on keepin' it real!

Consider them asked!
If you'll send me your email address at to...@roadhousepodcast.com, I
have some questions and suggestions that may be useful.

I added a long mention of KPVL to an audio announcement about The
Roadhouse last night.

The mention starts at 5:34.
Let us know how this works out.
