Etta Baker

As a new subscriber to the podcast, I can only assume you marked the
passing of North Carolina Piedmont Blues guitarist Etta Baker last
September at the age of 93.

I saw her play twice in person, once at Merlefest several years ago,
and once in a concert here in Waynesville, NC. My son (now 18 and a
pretty good guitar player) saw and fell in love with the playing of
this tiny little octagenarian whose dreadnought guitar was bigger than
she.
