Thanks from a downstream consumer of the road-condition API — and one question about what integrators commonly misread

Hello,

I maintain `condition_aggregator_digitraffic`, a small Dart/Flutter adapter that maps Digitraffic road-condition data into a common advisory format for app developers, with CC BY 4.0 attribution to Fintraffic.

First, thank you for running this data service — the open road-condition feeds are genuinely useful to build on, and the documentation and support structure around them are appreciated. Thanks also to teijosol for merging a small docs fix of ours on tmfg/digitraffic-road back in May.

One question, asked purely to make our integration more faithful to your data: from your side, what do downstream consumers of the road-condition data most often get wrong or misread — fields, semantics, staleness windows, licensing/attribution, anything an integrator should know that the docs alone don't fully carry?

No reply is expected or owed — if the question is useful to answer publicly at some point, we'll simply read along here. Thanks again for the service you provide.

Best regards,
Aki

Hi,

Nice to hear you find the service useful, and thanks for the docs contribution.

We don't have a specific list of common misunderstandings at the moment. We do our best to keep the documentation at https://www.digitraffic.fi/ and the Swagger docs at https://tie.digitraffic.fi/swagger/ up to date, and whenever we notice users misreading something, we update the docs accordingly.

Ystävällisin terveisin / Best regards
