Hello!

My name is Bryan Eakes, and I am a Release Engineer at Garmin International. I am emailing to report an issue with the Digitraffic traffic camera data feed.

Date/Time Reported: 2020-02-20 16:07 CST

Severity: MEDIUM

Description of Issue: We are sporadically receiving a message in the dynamic and static feeds that reads:

<head><title>504 Gateway Time-out</title></head>
<center><h1>504 Gateway Time-out</h1></center>

The feeds we use are:

https://tie.digitraffic.fi/api/v1/data/camera-data

https://tie.digitraffic.fi/api/v1/metadata/camera-stations

Thanks for reporting the issue. We are having some issues with our database. Issue is under investigation and hopefully resolved soon. We will keep you updated

Url https://tie.digitraffic.fi/api/v1/data/weather-data now requires a "accept-encoding: gzip" header

This seems to have calmed the situation down. We're still unsure what the root cause is
