I know this can't be done now, but is it possible in a future upgrade?

Apple Maps now (since RTP first came out) has a way of grouping destinations into "Guides". Can RTP be changed so that when we send all pins to Apple Maps that it goes into a guide so that they are all grouped together? That would make pin-to-pin navigation much easier.

Apple Maps has a lot of features that are not available to developers unfortunately.

RTP uses an URL scheme to send location data to Apple Maps. If you look at the Apple Map URL scheme documentation here:

You’ll notice Guides is not something that is available.

There is a way to launch Apple Maps programmatically but there’s nothing about Guides there also:

Apple only lets developers access a limited amount of functionality.

Thanks,
Bill

I remember the old days (Apple //) when everything was open to developers. I wrote a lot of software back then, and contributed to several magazines. Those were the good ole days.

Guess the best thing is to send one pin at a time, navigate, delete, then move onto the next pin. Thanks for the input.

Mike
