Hello,

I cannot make sense of the calculated dates and times, wondering what I am missing.
Screenshot 2026-06-21 at 11.27.29.png
See for example Pin 3:
We are planning to leave Andorra at 1000. It calculates 8h20m to reach La Rosiere, which should be an arrival time of 1820, but it says 1620.
Those two hours are 'recovered' the next day: leaving La Rosiere at 1000 for Innsbruck via Fiesh. Adding the travel times result in ~8h30m, but the arrival time is given as 2000.

Are the travel times wrong or the times?

Thank you!
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Are there any time zones you travel through or local time changes occurring during the proposed dates?

Hello Bill,

Thanks for the quick reply!

No, all points are within Europe, same timezone.

Meanwhile I changed some things and actually at some point it was working again, but look at the current status:
PastedGraphic-1.png

1000 + ~4 hours =0,167 days ~1200?

Also, should hidden pins not be hidden in the itinerary?

Thanks & Best regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

For the time values, you could try selecting “Update route pin date & time values” in the Pin menu. Maybe that would help.

If you don’t want some route pins to show in the itinerary, you can drag them to the POI list. There are some Itinerary choices in the Settings, but it does seem to be missing the option to include or exclude hidden pins. I’ll look into that.

Thanks,
Bill

Hello Bill,

Thank you for your suggestions!

I had done ‘Update route pin …’ already, but unfortunately  it is not improving. Here is another iteration:
PastedGraphic-1.png
To arrive there, I first followed your suggestion using POI pins (more on that later), put them back and left them visible.

Note also how the predictions differ this time. I guess this is due to current traffic in the area? Not a big deal.
Between pin 2 and 3 there is however still this two hour error.

Concerning the POI pins, at least in my case, they were completely ignored during the route planning. As I was using them to force the route through some places, it was not useful.
It is also not a big issue. It would just be convenient to be able to force the route, but get the total travelling time between two visible points without having to add manually.

Thank you & Best regards,
Stefan
