Import RTP files onto iPad

I have files I have produced on my Mac Studio (Sequoia 15.6.1) and I'm trying to put them on my iPad (iOs 18.6.2).

I can put the file on the iPad with no problem. My problem comes about when I change the file on the computer and then want the updated file on the iPad. 

I will delete it from the iPad and try to reopen it. Very frequently I get an "A file with that name already exists." error.

I've tried restarting my iPad; nothing seems to work.  Any suggestions?

I’ve seen this occasionally, and I believe it’s a result of an invisible temporary file being left behind with the same name.

We’ll look into it, but for now you could try renaming the files with, for example, a version number or date appended to the name.

Instead of file MyTrip, call the file MyTrip01, MyTrip02, etc. Or MyTrip10.6.25, for example. That way you also have backups of previous edits.

rtp does not cloud update in real time.. relace old file when saving and retrieve new file on other device
