Is there any way that a count could be shown when a subset of  Route Pins is selected?? It appears that you can do this for POI pins, but I don't use those.

It would be a great help. Thanks for any consideration.

Not directly. Below is how to do so indirectly.

Assume all pins are checked under the Show menu.
Select the route pins of interest.
Select “Toggle Route Pin Visibility” from the Pin menu to uncheck them.
2nd screenshot shows a subset of total.

Thank you very much! That is certainly easier than counting manually.

Appreciate the tip.

I answered previously before I tried your solution.

It works, but inconsistently. I have 16 items in this one file. The first time I tried it, I selected 4 items, toggled visibility, and it worked correctly. I then toggled visibility back and chose a different 4 items. This time it told me 8 of 16 were selected. Screenshots:

Is there a particular sequence (select, then toggle; toggle, then select?) I should be doing?

Any ideas? Thanks much.

I think the key is to have all route pins displayed on the map. On your screenshot it said showing 8 out of 16 pins. Make sure it says showing 16 out of 16 pins.
